Most perfumes today are made to behave. Designed for mass appeal and constrained by budget and trends. However, we believe fragrance is a deeply personal aspect of a person. As such, a good fragrance should be tempting, memorable, and uncompromising.
This is why we describe our approach as forbidden perfumery. It is our rejection of mainstream perfumery and the constraints corporations impose on artistry. Forbidden perfumery begins where those restraints end: rare extracts, novel accords, and story-driven scents inspired by history and myth.
Our fragrances are not designed to please everyone; each one has its own character and its own audience. Yet Layadi is a house of many temptations, where anyone who loves fragrance can find a scent made for them.
